Joy Lynn Dusenbery

Joy Lynn Dusenbery, age 75, passed away on July 25, 2024 surrounded by her loved ones.  Joy was born to the late Louis and Bertha Luzader in Columbus, Ohio on September 24, 1948.

Joy was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio where she attended West High School and graduated with the class of 1976.  She later went on to work for State Auto Insurance where she spend 37 hardworking years.  She also spent five years at Hilliard City Schools, but there was nothing she loved quite as much as being a grandma.  She will be missed by all who had the opportunity to know her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Berthe Luzader, and her sister, Connie Wurzauf.

Joy is survived by her ex-husband, Gary Dusenbery, daughter, Jessica Dusenbery, sister, Dianne Luzader, brother, Richard Luzader, her granddaughter, Emma Dusenbery and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

The family will receive friends for a visitation and funeral service on Thursday, August 1st, at the Tidd Family Funeral Home, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH, 43026 beginning at 10:00am and ending at 11:00am for our service to begin at 11:00am.
