Joyce A. [Davis] Kincaid, went home to be with her Lord after a valiant 8 month battle with leukemia on September 11, 2015 at OSU/The James Cancer Hospital. Joyce was born in Parkersburg, WV on June 7, 1937 and graduated from Frankfurt Pilgrim High School in Frankfurt, IN. She married Basil on March 2, 1957. They lived for 50 years in Grove City and recently moved to West Jefferson. Joyce retired from Franklin County Children’s Services after 30+ years. She was a faithful member of Cypress Wesleyan Church where she loved serving on the Funeral Meal Team. She also volunteered at the Good Samaritan Food Pantry. Joyce enjoyed reading and gardening, and cherished time spent with her family. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Joyce will be greatly missed by her devoted husband of 58 years, Basil; 4 daughters, Debbie Reeb, Susan [Mark] Knight, Janie [Phill] Phillips, Barbie [Matt] Wright; 14 grandchildren, Andrew [Audrey] Reeb, Adam [Kayla] Knight, Shane Shoaf, Jessica Knight, Dakota Reeb, Lindsay Knight, Daniel Wright, Sam Phillips, Sydney Shoaf, Anna Phillips, Joseph Phillips, Jenna Shoaf, Connor Wright, and Sarah Phillips; 2 great-granddaughters, Ella Reeb and Violet Knight; 2 brothers, Leon Travis and Roger [Penny] Davis, and a sister, Barbara [Brian] Bonney; 2 brothers-in-law, Bob [Wanda] Kincaid and Charles [Nadine] Kincaid; many nieces and nephews; and her dear friend, Shirley Carpenter. Joyce was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Rev. L. K. & Ruth Davis; son-in-law Steve Reeb, and sister-in-law Betty Travis. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 16, 5-8pm at Tidd Family Funeral Home, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard. Funeral service to be held at Cypress Church, 377 Alton Darby Creek Rd., Galloway, 11am, September 17, with Rev. Dale George officiating. Interment to follow at Alton Cemetery.
