Joycelyn Owens

Joycelyn Owens, age 89, of Hilliard, OH, passed away on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at Edgewater Place in Plain City, OH. Joyce loved singing, horseback riding, and most of all she loved her family.  Joyce was a Hilliard High School graduate, Class of 1947.  She retired from Nursing Center Services and the Charles Chips Company.  Preceded in death in 2004 by her beloved husband Frank “Buddy”, sister Donna Arthur, brother Will Tewell.  She is survived by her loving children: Randy (Tonya) Owens and Patty (Steve) McClarren; brother Norman (Pat) Tewell, sister Beverly (Frank) Dyke-Aguirre; her grandchildren: Andrew and Maria Owens; Ellie, Ben and Maggie McClarren; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.  Family will receive friends from 11:00a.m.-1:00p.m. SUNDAY, JANUARY 13, 2019 at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich Street, Hilliard, OH 43026 where her Funeral Service will follow at 1:00p.m. SUNDAY.  Private interment will be held Monday at Sunset Cemetery, Galloway, Ohio.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Kidney Foundation, 11921 Rockville Pike, Suite 300, Rockville, MD 20852.
