Julia R. Sickles

Julia R. Sickles, age 65, of Hilliard, OH passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, July 23, 2019.  She was born January 23, 1954 in Clarksville, IN to James and Marie (Price) Miller. She attended Clarksville High School in Indiana.  Julia spent a lifetime caring for others and always brought smiles and laughter everywhere she went. She had a special way of making people feel welcome and loved, and consistently put the needs of others before her own. She had a special place in her heart for her two dogs Snickers and Brutus and cared for them deeply. She will truly be missed by all that knew her.  She is survived by her brother, James (Marilynn) Miller; sister, Cheryl Proctor; son, Cory (Melissa) Sickles; son-in-law, Bob (Teresa) Morgan, grandchildren Josie, Ben and Will Morgan; niece, Holly Swearingen (Chris Veeck); great nephew and niece Austin and Aly Swearingen; nephew, Jeffrey (Kathleen) Miller; nephew David Miller; nephew Josh Proctor; great niece Lily Proctor; nephew Tommy (Crystal) Proctor; great nephew CJ Proctor; nephew Jim (Melissa) Swearingen; great niece Addison Lee; and many many friends, especially Rose Fairchild, Gail & Ken Macke, and Angie & Tom Dick.  She was preceded in death by her son, Chad Beckman; daughter Amie Morgan; and great niece Claudia Proctor. Visitation will be held at TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich Street, Hilliard, OH 43026 on TUESDAY, JULY 30, 2019 from 11:00a.m.-1:00p.m. and the funeral service will immediately follow the visitation and begin at 1:00p.m. TUESDAY with Reverend David Nuhfer officiating.  Burial will follow the service at Alton Cemetery, Galloway, OH.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lifeline of Ohio, 770 Kinnear Rd.
