June Smith

June Smith, age 96, of Hilliard, Ohio, met her Savior at Kobacker House on Thursday, December 28, 2023.  Born in Jacksonville, Ohio to the late Raphael and Martha Kasler, June was a graduate of Columbus Central High School.  June raised her five children on her own and was a wonderful mother.  She loved to take walks and enjoyed the many friendships she made with her neighbors in her Mill Run neighborhood.  She loved swimming aerobics, dominos, puzzles and cards and was a long-time member of Grace Church Polaris.

In addition to her parents, June was preceded in death by her husband Stanley Smith, her siblings Glen Kasler, Dorothy Pressler and Floyd Kasler, sisters-in-law Anna Kasler and Clara Kasler, her grandson Allen Baker, and her granddaughter Danielle Stover.

June is survived by her brother Vern (Joyce) Kasler, sister-in-law Sally McDowell, her children: Nancy (Michael) Keating, Mary (Terry) Baker, Tom (Aurelia) Webb, Donna (Bradley) Owens, Robin (Cheryl) Webb, 14 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren.

Family will receive friends from 10:00a.m.-12:00p.m. THURSDAY, JANUARY 4, 2024 at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich Street, Hilliard, OH 43026 (614)-876-1722 where her Funeral Service will follow the visitation and begin at 12:00p.m. THURSDAY.  Burial will follow the service at Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
