Karen L. Koch

Karen L. Koch, age 66 of Galloway, Ohio passed away March 20, 2022. She was preceded in death by husband Mike Sr., parents Charles and Rosemary Schwaigert, brothers-in-law Mike McDowell, Doug and Jeff Koch. She is survived by her son Mike Jr. (Nicole Vilagi), daughter Ashley, sister Carol McDowell, her children Kevin McDowell, Brian (Emily) McDowell, brother Fred Jr. (Nadine) Schwaigert, grandchildren Harper and Tynslie Koch along with numerous other nieces, nephews and close friends. Karen was a graduate of Hilliard High School, Class of 1974. She married the love of her life in February, 1975. She was an at-home care giver before working for The Ohio State University Medical Center. She loved being outside, especially growing various vegetables and tending to her flowers. But above all, spoiling her grandchildren rotten. In honor of Karen’s wishes no services will be held prior to cremation.
