Katherine H. Govostes

Katherine H. Govostes, 90, left this earth to be with the Lord on April 3, 2017. Katherine Katros was born on September 10, 1926 in Boston, Massachusetts to Harry and Constantina (Pappas) Katros.

Preceded in death her beloved husband, Steven Govostes, daughter Cynthia Govostes and great-grandson Christopher King. Also preceded in death by brothers Wilie, Teddy and Archie (Ruth) Katros, James Papailias, Bill Nichols and sisters Helen (Arthur) Tsesmedzis, Emily (John) Vrattos and Georgette (Mike) Klironomos.

Survived by daughter and son-in-law Stephanie and Terry King of Grove City, granddaughters Stacey and Tyson Powell of Newark and Shelley and Jason Clemings of Grove City and great-grandchildren A1C Matthew (Taylor) Kaser and Hailey Katherine Hart. Also survived by Sister-in-law Martha Papalias and multitude of nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Thanks to Monterey Care Center and staff for all the TLC given to Katherine and her family. The family would also like to thank the Greystone Hospice and the staff for all the TLC given to Katherine and her family. And thank you to special friends Kellie Reynolds-Hatcher and Hank Laroche.

Family will receive friends Thursday April 6, 2017 from 10:00 - 11:00 am, at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, Oh 43026, funeral service will follow at 11:00 am. Burial will take place at Glen Rest Memorial Estate 8029 E. Main St. Reynoldsburg, Ohio.
