Kathleen M. Hagarman, was born June 26, 1924 in Akron, Ohio and entered into Heaven on 02/25/2014 at the age of 89. Kathleen was raised in Clinton, Ohio. She began her education at Clinton School. Kathleen entered nurses training October 1942 at Mercy Hospital, Canton, Ohio. Kathleen was in the Nurses Cadet Corp. She graduated nurses training in 1945. She married Doctor Donald Paul Hagarman on April 26, 1947 at St. Phillips and James, Canal Fulton, Ohio. They settled in Cambridge Springs, Pa. where Don (Doc) had his dental practice established and built a home in 1950. Raised her family in Cambridge Springs, Pennsylvania. While the children were in school, she attended Edinboro College and received her Pennsylvania nursing certification. She was employed as a nurse with the San Rosaria nursing home. When Donald retired, they moved to the Country Square Apartments, Edinboro, Pennsylvania. Kathleen was employed as a nurse in the Edinboro College Health Center. With Donald’s passing in 1992, Kathleen moved to Columbus, Ohio and worked part time in the Maple Canyon Apartment complex leasing office. Kathleen retired and moved to the Sugar Grove Square Retirement Apartments. She is a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Columbus, Ohio. She was known for her love of family and a passion for reading. Kathleen’s favorite hobbies are jigsaw puzzles, knitting, needle point, sewing, and cross-stitch. Kathleen was preceded in death by her husband Donald. By her parents Pauline Clouser, Willis Charles Fye, her siblings Beatrice Jane (Betty) Fye, Richard Eugene Fye, Rita Ann (Sister M. Charles Fye CSA), Thomas William Fye, Monsignor Lawrence Charles Fye, Margaret (Sweet) Ruth (Fye) Mokris, her son Lawrence Hagarman and granddaughter Jennifer Liegh Hagarman. Kathleen leaves behind, to rejoice in her memory, her children: David Paul Hagarman and wife Gleta of Alamo, Texas, Gregory Hagarman of Columbus, Ohio, Jon Brion Hagarman and wife Rita of Richardson, Texas, Mary Elizabeth Hagarman of Columbus, Ohio, Timothy Charles Hagarman of Columbus, Ohio, her grandchildren: Daniel Paul Hagarman and wife Jana of Anchorage, Alaska, Christopher Charles Hagarman of Irving, Texas, Carrie Ann Bates of Columbus, Ohio, Katie Ann (Hagarman) Goodrich of Euless, Texas, Eric Hagarman of Columbus, Ohio, Adam Hagarman of Columbus, Ohio, her great grandchildren: Issak, Piper and Liam Hagarman of Anchorage, Alaska, James Hagarman of Columbus, Ohio plus many other loving family members and friends. Memorials may be made to the Mental Health/Mental Retardation program, at Franklin County Board of Developmental Disabilities, 2879 Johnstown Rd, Columbus, OH 43219.
