Kathleen Riga Hobson

Kathleen M. Riga Hobson, age 77, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at Doctor’s West Hospital. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio she was preceded in death by her parents Norma and Edward, sister June Jones and her husband James Hobson. She is survived by her sister Norene Caruso of Cincinnati, her children: Caren (Craig) McCaslin of Eagle, NE, Lisa Hurley of Columbus, Anthony (Leah) Riga of Columbus and Angie (Milan Johnson) Riga of Hilliard; her grandchildren: Audra, Paige and Ian McCaslin; Shannon Hurley, Alicia Riga and India and Devin Johnson; the extended Hobson Family; and her many friends. Kathleen loved the outdoors and camping. She was volunteer at Highbanks Metro Park for many years. She also loved animals and spent many hours volunteering at the Capital Area Humane Society.
