Kathryn Dennehy Thorne

Kathryn Dennehy Thorne, 82, died Thursday, May 28, 09. Kathryn grew up in Springfield, OH, attending Catholic Central High School. She graduated cum laude with a Bachelor’s degree in English from Mount St. Joseph College, Cincinnati, going on to receive her Master’s degree in Journalism from Ohio State Univ., Cols. Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents, Helen and John Dennehy, her brother Leo Dennehy, and her husband, William H. Thorne and is survived by her son, Christopher Thorne; her daughter, Deirdre Thorne Edgell; granddaughter, Audrey Kathryn Edgell; her niece, Rita Marie Dennehy; and nephews, John and Tom Dennehy. Family will receive friends Fri., June 5, from 6-8 pm and Sat., June 6, from 9-10 am at THE TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, Ohio (614-876-1722). The funeral service will be Sat., June 6, at 10:30 am at the Chapel in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, 6440 South High St. (SR 23S) Lochbourne, Ohio (614-491-2751).
