Keith A. Kovalcik, Sr.

Keith Alan Kovalcik, Sr., age 52, died on Thursday, October 12, 2017, after battling lung cancer. Keith was born on May 26, 1965, in Columbus, Ohio, to Stephen and Alice Kovalcik. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister-in-laws Cindy Fabro-Legg and Barbie Fabro, mother-in-law Joan Fabro, brothers-in-law Darin Stone, Bobby Webb, and Cecil Roddy, and great-grandson Ezra Corbin. Keith attended Brookhaven High School, resided in Mt. Sterling Ohio, and worked as a printing press operator for The Buckeye Ranch and later for R&R Donnelly. Two of the things Keith enjoyed most in life were snow and Steelers football. We believe his corner of heaven will have both! Keith is survived by his wife, Debbie Kovalcik; his two children, Keith (Ashlie) Kovalcik, Jr. and Jessica Kovalcik, special niece Jamie Fabro, and the mother of his children, Jackie Fabro-Mather; brother, Stephen (Cindy) Kovalcik II and twin brother Kevin (Lisa) Kovalcik, Sr.; father-in-law Vic Fabro, brothers-in-law Victor Fabro, Danny Fabro, Steve (Mary) Webb, Ronnie(Rhonda) Webb, Randy (Becky) Webb, and sisters-in-laws Misty (Roger) Fabro-Dildine, Maria (Carlo) Fabro-Pelaccio, Jewel Roddy, Kathy Webb, Vicki (Bob) Hammond; step-children, Jennifer McCarty, Jackie (Kacy) Yankie and Joanna McCarty; grandchildren  Kailey, Kallie, Korbyn, Kassidy and Alice Kovalcik, Shawnee (Josh) Corbin, Kaelin McCarty, Heather Newman, William Moore, Emily Wright, Emery Woods, Hannah Moore, and great-grandchild, Penelope Corbin; and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service is scheduled for Sunday, October 22, 2017, at 2:00 p.m., at the Mount Sterling First Church of the Nazarene, 226 N. Market Street, Mt. Sterling, officiated by Rev. Dorotha Ross.
