Kenneth R. Beckley

Kenneth R. Beckley, age 86, of Hilliard, died Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at his residence after a battle with CHF. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Phyllis Penhorwood-Beckley; children, John (Kathy) Beckley, Deborah Lee, and Rachel (Dean) Pierce; 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, 5 siblings; son, David; and 2 great grandchildren. "K.R." was a Korean War Veteran where he served his country as a corporal. He also served his God for 64 years and was ordained in the Wesleyan Church in 1959. Friends may call Friday, February 10, 2017 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St. in Hilliard. Funeral service will be Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Cypress Wesleyan Church, 377 Alton Darby Creek Rd. in Galloway, OH 43119. Reverends Ted Smith and Dean Pierce officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Cypress Wesleyan Church.
