Kenneth Brenneman

Kenneth R. Brenneman, age 72, of Hilliard, passed away Monday, September 1, 2014. Graduate of Wittenberg University and received his Master’s from Kent State. He was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity. He was a member of St Paul Lutheran Church of New Rome, where he served many years as Choir Director. Hilliard High School Choir Director for over 24 years and Executive Director of Hilliard Arts Council. Preceded in death by parents Ellsworth and Margaretta Brenneman and nephew Daniel Brenneman. Survived by loving wife of 32 years Robin Brenneman, son Kenneth R. Brenneman II, brother Walter Brenneman, grandchildren Caroline, Ava and Robby Brenneman, nephew Sean (Jovan) Brenneman, mother-in-law Dorothy Rosenfeld, sister-in-law Karen Russell, nephews-in-law David and Kyle Block and beloved dogs Chelsea, Molly and Jasmine. The family would like to give a special thank you to HomeReach Hospice, Ken’s Keepers, Hilliard Senior Choir Alumni and Hilliard Arts Council. A celebration of life service will be held 3pm Sunday at Hilliard Davidson High School, 5100 Davidson Rd., Hilliard, OH 43026. Family will receive friends immediately following the service until 6pm in the Hilliard Davidson High School cafeteria. Please deliver all flowers to the high school. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions be made to Hilliard Arts Council, 3800 Veterans Memorial Dr., Hilliard, OH 43026.
