Kenneth Allen Drake

Kenneth A. Drake, age 85, of Hilliard, Ohio, went to Heaven on Thursday, December 29, 2016. Born in West Mansfield, OH to the late Rosie and Banner Drake, he was a graduate of West Mansfield High School, Class of 1949. After high school, he entered the United States Army and served his country during the Korean War. After the war, Ken began his 26-year career with the Ohio State Highway Patrol. He retired in 1986 with the rank of Sergeant. In addition to his parents, Ken was preceded in death by his beloved wife Joan Drake who passed in 2015 and by his brother Thomas Drake. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Dan and Carol Drake, of Powell, Ohio, the extended Farrington Family of the West Mansfield area, and his many friends. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00p.m. MONDAY at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich Street, Hilliard, OH 43026 (614)-876-1722 where his Funeral Service will be held at 11:30 a.m. TUESDAY, JANUARY 3, 2017 with The Reverend Richard Ellsworth, officiating.
