Kim McCanney

Kim Church McCanney, age 45, of Grove City, went home to be with her Lord, January 31, 2011, after losing her courageous battle against lung cancer. Kim was a breast cancer survivor of 3 years, and was an inspiration to everyone who knew her. Graduate Franklin Heights High School Class of 1983. Attended Cypress Wesleyan Church, U.S. Army Veteran, was employed with Ologie and a N.R.A. member. Preceded in death by grandfather, Everett Stanley and grandparents, Charles and Nellie Church. Survived by mother, Marti Marcum; father, Larry (Kathy) Church; grandmother, Leona Stanley; half-brother, Andy (Susan) Havens; step-sister, Nicole Newman; step-brother, Jeremy Newman; many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, close friend Paul Applegate, close special colleagues at Ologie and her loving cats, Tiger, Streak, and Arnie. Family will receive friends Thursday from 6-8pm at THE TIDD FUNERAL HOME 5265 Norwich St. Hilliard, OH 43026. Funeral service 11am Friday at Cypress Wesleyan Church 377 Alton and Darby Creek Rd.
