Kimberly L. Shofter

Kimberly L. Shofter, 56, of Columbus, OH passed away Friday, September 25, 2020 at her home. Kimberly was born April 6, 1964 in Los Angeles,CA to Georgia Dowell and Kenneth Shofter.

Kim is survived by her father Kenneth Shofter of Bremen, OH, her children Josh and Mycki Young of Columbus, OH, her sister Kathy Willman of Hilliard, OH, brothers Lee Shofter of Phoenix, AZ, Mark Ballard and Mike Ballard of Colorado, nephews Michael and Matthew, nieces Megan and Lauren and many loving friends. 

Kim was born in California then moved to the Columbus, OH area as a young child where she spent the rest of her life. She graduated from Hillard High School in 1982. She raised her son Josh in the area and was elated when he married Mycki, who became a daughter to her. She was a devoted employee of the United State Postal Service.  You could find her shooting pool with her sister and friends on a typical Saturday night.
