Larry Cordial

Larry Cordial passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 2, 2025 surrounded by his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Debbie Cordial, his sons Justin Cordial (Alyssa) and Derrick Cordial (Brittany), his mother Dorothy Cordial (Volpe), his brothers, Ron Cordial (Peggy) and Randy Cordial (Lynn) and his special aunts Theresa Montgomery and Kay Ray. He is preceded in death by his father Jesse Cordial, his nephew Andy Rice, his cousin Brad Alexander, and his in-laws Carlos and Jane Montgomery. Larry was a beloved brother-in-law, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend to many. 

Larry dedicated his life to helping others. He started volunteering for the Norwich Township Fire Department at 18 years old and eventually retired from there after 28 years of service. Upon retirement, Larry became the proud owner of Cordial’s Hilltop Dairy Twist. He loved engaging with the community and bringing joy to others with a well-made ice cream. 

He will be remembered for his incredible work ethic, passion for cooking, and most importantly for his love and constant support of his family and friends. The family will be welcoming friends to honor Larry’s life on Thursday, February 6, 2025, from 3pm-8pm at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME, PLAIN CITY/DUBLIN CHAPEL, 9720 State Route 161, Plain City, Ohio, 43064. In honoring Larry’s wishes, a private celebration of life service will be held Friday for relatives only.
