Larry McDermitt

Larry R. McDermitt, age 75, passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2015, at Kobacker House Hospice. Born July 24, 1940, in Lancaster, OH, to the late William and Helen McDermitt. He was a long-time member of the Masonic Lodge # 30, The Scottish Rite, and Shriners, as well as the Hilliard Moose. Larry was the owner of Larry's Corvette Maintenance for 13 years and a Lifetime Member of the Corvette Museum. He is a retiree of AEP Northwest Garage and of NEP. Survived by daughter, Karen (John) Gibson; grandsons, Jordan and Justin Gibson; sister, Janet Billman; good friend, Brenda Copeland; 2 nieces, 1 nephew, and numerous cousins. Friends may call Friday, September 11, 2015, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St. in Hilliard with Masonic Service to take place at 7:30 p.m. Service will be 11:30 a.m., Saturday, September 12, 2015, at the Sunset Cemetery Mausoleum, 6959 W. Broad St. in Galloway, OH. Interment to follow at the cemetery.
