Larry Murray

Larry Nelson Murray, age 81, of Hilliard, passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2017. He was a US Army Korean War era veteran. Larry worked at GM/Fisher Guide for 35 years and retired in 1992 as a Senior Buyer. Throughout his career he was a Youth Director for National Alliance of Businessmen, an Advisor for Junior Achievement of Ohio and a United Way Volunteer. Preceded in death by parents Clarence and Ida Mae Murray, siblings Lucille, Catherine, Bertha, Flosse, Madelyn, Lucy Mae, Nancy, Carolyn, Iris, Lloyd, Bill and Jim, grandson Thomas Hipple. Survived by loving wife of 58 years Sally Murray, children Jodi (Bill) Mazar, Joe (Jessica) Murray, Jeff (Janet) Murray and Jill (Tobin) Hipple, grandchildren Jeremy (Kylie), Aaron (Sara), Nicholas (Amelia), Trevor, Mara, Patrick, Hunter and Sammy, great grandchildren Mason and Nolan and many nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends 2-4 pm Sunday at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME WITH CREMATORY, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026; where a memorial service will be held at 4 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105.
