Larry Vermilion

Larry V. Vermilion, age 70, passed away Friday, March 21, 2014 at Kobacker House. Born June 12, 1943 in Newark, OH to Vernon Guy and Annamary (Darkes) Vermilion, Larry graduated from Newark High School in 1961 and proudly served in the US Navy. Retired from Rockwell (Heath, OH) with 30 years’ service. Survived by wife of 46 yrs, Rosemarie (Gartner) Vermilion; sons, Matthew (Christina) and Michael (Kelli); grandchildren, Isaac, Alexander, Elizabeth, Owen, Finn and Zoe; sister Joyce (Jim) Nixon of Lancaster. Preceded in death by parents and brother, Vaughn Guy Vermilion. Friends may call Monday, March 24, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Tidd Family Funeral Home, 5265 Norwich St. in Hilliard. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 25th, at St. Brendan the Navigator Catholic Church, 4475 Dublin Rd. in Hilliard. Interment will follow at 1:30 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery of Licking County, corner of Rt. 13N and St. Joseph Rd. Memorial contributions may be made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation or the Kobacker House Hospice.
