Laurie Anne Williams (Holny), passed away unexpectedly in the early morning of Wednesday June 15th, 2016 in Copley, OH.
Laurie Anne was born on July 20th, 1971 in Elyria, Oh. She was a graduate of the class of 1989 from Hilliard High School. After graduation she joined the United States Navy where she served with honor for 6 years. She then went on to pursue her degree in Journalism from the University of Southern Mississippi.
Her passions included her faith, writing, reading, traveling, theatre, concerts, and those that surrounded her with good conversation. She was also a mother to two beautiful children whom she loved dearly.
She is preceded in death by her beloved Grandmother Viola Millikan. She is survived by children Matthew and Molly Williams, Mother Donna Yeager, Father Albert Holny, Step Father David Yeager, Sister Amy and her husband Matthew Goodrich and their daughter Lilly Michelle, along with extended family members.
Family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00 P.M. Friday June 24th, 2016 at Hilliard United Methodist Church located at 5445 Scioto Darby Rd. Hilliard Oh, 43026. A Memorial service will follow at 1 P.M.
Laurie was a very charitable, caring person. Therefore, the family requests that In lieu of flowers a donation be made to a charity of donor’s choice in her honor.
