After a courageous battle with cancer, Lee Ann Fogt, age 65, passed away in the comfort of her Dublin, Ohio home surrounded by loved ones on Sunday January 29, 2023.
Lee Ann was born on October 30, 1957 in Ironton, Ohio to the late Paul Joseph and Gerry Holtzapfel. She graduated with honors from St. Joseph Catholic High School in 1976, then attended The Ohio State University and graduated in 1980 having majored in Psychology.
She worked at Ashland Chemical in Customer Relations for 12 years, where she also met the love of her life, Jerry Fogt. After the birth of her third child, Lee Ann took time off to raise her children then reentered the workforce in 1999, where she worked at JC & Company, CPA for 20+ years as an Administrator.
She was an active member of St. Brigid of Kildare Church and loved volunteering for the annual philanthropic event, Trash & Treasure.
Lee Ann enjoyed shopping, decorating her beautiful home, card club, dinner with girlfriends and spending quality time with her children and first (and only) grandchild, Collins Fogt.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry, whom she married on June 4, 1988; her sons Patrick (Elizabeth) & Jordan Fogt of Columbus, Ohio and daughter Kelly Fogt of Costa Mesa, California.
She is also survived by her sisters Diane (J.) Carpenter of Marysville, Ohio and Caroline (Jim) Wharton of Columbus, Ohio, along with aunts, uncles, cousins, several nieces and nephews & wonderful friends and coworkers.
Lee Ann's Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30a.m. WEDNESDAY, MAY 31, 2023 at ST. BRIGID OF KILDARE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 7179 Avery Road, Dublin, Ohio 43017 with The Reverend Timothy Lynch, Celebrant and Deacon Frank Iannarino, assisting. Burial will follow the Mass at Dublin Cemetery.
