Lee H. Gabriel

Lee H. Gabriel, age 64, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away Monday, November 21, 2016 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Born in Cleveland, Ohio in 1952 to Donald E. and the late Jean M. Gabriel, Lee was a graduate of the University of Akron. Lee worked for NASA at the Ames Research Center in Moffett Field, CA on the Space Shuttle Program and was most recently a computer technician with Columbus Roof Truss for many years. He was preceded in death by his mother Jean M. Gabriel and his brother-in-law Jack M. Jozan. Lee is survived by his father Donald E. Gabriel of Westerville, OH, his brothers Raymond (Hannelore) Gabriel of Salida, CO and Gary (Marcia) Gabriel of Mentor, OH; his niece and nephews Aruna (Drew) Pietrack, Daniel (Stephanie Hodgkiss) Gabriel and Bryant (Jessica Stafford) Gabriel; his long-time companion Kimberly Smith of Columbus; his godson Christopher Carr of Columbus; Kim’s extended family, Lee’s extended family and his many friends.
