Lee Roy Perry, Sr, age 72 of Cookeville, Tennessee, died March 26, 2010 in Cookeville Regional Hospital. He was born Nov. 19, 1937 in Webbville, KY. He was the son of the late Hugh and Nevada (Cotton) Perry.
Mr. Perry loved and lived his life for the Lord; a member of the Church of God in Allgood, TN.; he served in the US Marine Corp.
Preceded in death by wife, Beverly Ann, son Keith C. Perry; great grandson, Zane Perry; sister Corrine Brainard; brother Delbert Perry.
He is survived by children, Lee Perry, Jr. of Ohio, Kimberly Perry of CA., Mary Rashidinejad of CA., and Elizabeth Stevenson of TN.; 10 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren; sister, Mary Stage of Mt. Sterling; brother, Kenny Perry of New Holland; A Special Friend,Atlas. A Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling. The burial will follow in Pleasant Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 30, 2010 from 4 – 8 p.m.
