Lee Roy Flowers

Lee Roy Flowers, age 85, of Briar Hill H.C.C., North Baltimore, OH went to be with his Lord on Friday, November 19, 2010. He is a Christian and attended North Baltimore Church of Christ. During WWII, he served in the Navy in the Pacific on Liberty Ships: The USS Cornelius Vanderbilt and the USS Mary E. Kinney. He retired from Union Carbide, Linde Division after 38 years of service. Preceded in death by his wife, Cortez” Bullington” Flowers; son, Roy Flowers; parents, James Mitchell and Hattie “McMullen” Flowers; brothers and sister, Carrus Flowers, Mayo Flowers, Paul Flowers, Larry Flowers, and Francis Tattersal. Survived by children, Donald Flowers and Cynthia Pitcher; grandchildren, Stephanie (Marc) Fishman, Carly Flowers, Jessica Flowers, Ashley Flowers, Joshua Flowers, and Michael Flowers; great grandchild, Caitlin Fishman; and daughter-in-law, Roxanne Flowers. He is loved and will be missed by his family and friends. Visitation will be held Monday from 10-11 am at THE TIDD FUNERAL HOME 5265 Norwich St. Hilliard, OH 43026 where a funeral service will follow at 11am with Pastor Danny Vanscoy officiating. Interment Sunset Cemetery.
