Leola Beverly

Leola Beverly, age 88, of Hilliard, OH, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 5, 2018 at Mill Run Care Center. Born in Madison County, OH to the late Minnie and Leonard Brigner, Leola was a graduate of Atlanta High School. She was a long-time Executive Secretary with The State of Ohio, Department of Taxation and later worked as a secretary at Hilliard High School. Leola was a member of St. Mark’s United Methodist Church for many years. She loved to sing and sang in the choir and performed solos for over 50 years. Preceded in death by her beloved husband Heber Beverly, grandson Ben Samuel and sister Ruby Pollard, Leola is survived by her daughters Christine (Herb) Samuel of Delaware, OH, Cheryl (Tim) Darr of Hilliard and Beth (Mark) Zeto of Findlay, OH; grandchildren: Wes Samuel of Grandview, OH, Jourdan (Mike) Bush of Orient, OH, Cameron Darr of Columbus, Tyler (Emily) Zeto of Indianapolis, IN, Kelsey (Katie) Zeto of Columbus, Grant (Marissa) Zeto of Clintonville and Alex (Tessa Gerkin) Zeto of Columbus; great-grandchildren: Lennon & Lola Bush, Trevor, Carter & Gabriella Zeto and Zooey & Matthew Zeto; brother-in-law Richard (Jeanette) Beverly of Los Gatos, CA, sisters-in-law: Shirley Suttman of Michigan, Karen (Bill) Johnson of Charlotte, NC and Pat Conlon of Hiram, GA; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00a.m. FRIDAY, JULY 13, 2018 at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich Street, Hilliard, OH 43026 (614)-876-1722 where her Funeral Service will follow the visitation and begin at 11:00a.m. FRIDAY.
