Leona "Lee" Gillespie

Leona "Lee" Gillespie joined her husband of 63 years in Heaven, Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at Dublin Methodist Hospital with her family by her side. She was born December 26, 1931 in Ridgeton, Ohio to the late Minor and Cora Stineman. She was a loving mother and grandmother "Mimi". She took great joy in providing an inviting, comfortable home for her family. In her younger years she was an avid bridge player and in later years she enjoyed reading. Preceded in death by her husband, Loren and brother Jerry Stineman. Survived by daughters, Pam (Craig) Cassell and Becky (John) Schlott; grandchildren Adam and Allie Cassell and Emily and Katie Sharrett; great grandsons Oliver Custer and Kenley Shaw; sister Iretta Hollaway; several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held Monday, March 21, 2016 at 12:00 pm at LaRue Cemetery in LaRue, Ohio with Pastor David Griebner officiating. Arrangements are being made by Tidd Family Funeral Home, Hilliard, Ohio.
