Leona Hanson

Leona Hanson, age 81, passed away Saturday, November 7, 2015 at Doctors West Hospital. Born January 10, 1934 in Columbus, OH to the late Emanuel and Irene Huffman. She is a retired legal secretary for the State of Ohio. Member of Northwest Bible Church and gave generously to numerous charities. Preceded in death by brother, Howard. Survived by children, Cathy (Butch) Davis, Mike (Lori) Hanson, Lynn (Brian Lewis) Hanson; grandchildren, Jim, Greg, Angela, Tara, Tyler, Tori, Miles, Ross and Blake; 6 great grandchildren; siblings, Helen, Steve, John, Clifford, Mary and Louise; numerous nieces, nephews and many friends. Friends may call Wednesday, November 11, 2015 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St. in Hilliard. Funeral service will be Thursday, November 12, 2015 at 10 a.m. at the Northwest Bible Church, 6639 Scioto Darby Rd. Hilliard, OH 43026. Pastor Ken Harrell officiating.
