Leslie Mokry, Jr.

Leslie “Gene” Mokry Jr., born May 12, 1950, age 69, passed away Monday, September 16, 2019. Retired nurse after many years and retired Air Force Veteran. Gene accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior when he was a young man. Because of Jesus’ sacrifice on Gene’s behalf, on September 16 Gene stood before God in His sight and he is now enjoying sweet fellowship in heaven. Gene lived his life in service to his family, his country, his church and his God. He will be missed. Preceded in death by father Leslie Mokry Sr. Survived by mother Marilyn Steiner Mokry, loving wife of 33 years Margaret, sons Jeremy Mokry and Tim (Sheila) Branson, sister Jana (Rhey) Mullen, grandchildren Faith (Jarratt) Pierce and Joy Branson, specially dear to him was Armando (Eymy) Lezcano and their children Armando and Susan, numerous nieces, cousins and a host of friends. A memorial service will be held 1 pm Saturday, September 21, 2019 at Northwest Chapel, 6700 Rings Rd., Dublin, OH 43016.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Northwest Chapel Youth Mission Scholarship Fund.
