Leslie Murphy

Leslie Jane Murphy, age 75, of Columbus, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on Tuesday, March 12. Leslie (AKA Ezzy!) was preceded in death by her parents, Don and Jane Belisle and brother, Thomas Belise. She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, John Michael Murphy and children, John James Murphy, Timothy Michael (Joanna) Murphy and Courtney Diane (Justin “Ian”) Burns and 3 grandchildren, Christopher Jeffrey, Charlotte Sophia and Carter James Burns. She is also survived by brothers, Donald (Joan) Belisle, Michael (Brenda) Belisle, Mark (Lisa) Belisle, Patrick Belisle, William (Kim) Belisle, and Robert (Karen) Belisle, sisters Barbara Jean Belisle and Elizabeth (Tom) Heinmiller, sister-in-law Melinda and best friend Maryjane Riley. Leslie grew up in the beautiful little burg of Mt. Air, graduated from Watterson High School and worked for many years at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Family will receive friends from 2pm to 4pm on Sunday, March 17, at TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, Ohio 43026. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday, March 18, at 10:30am at St. Margaret of Cortona Church, 1600 N. Hague Ave, Columbus, Ohio 43204.
