Linda M. Broderick

Linda Marie (Herking) Broderick, of Columbus, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on May 24, 2018 at the age of 68. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Freda Herking of Cincinnati, Ohio and her former husband, Chris Broderick, of Coshocton, Ohio. Linda is survived by her daughter, Katie (Marc) Antonchak of Powell, Ohio and her son, Andy (Lindsay) Broderick of Upper Arlington, Ohio. She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren, Jonah, Rose, and Nora Antonchak and Lily and Evie Broderick.

Born in Cincinnati, Ohio Linda dedicated her life to children as a preschool teacher at Sacred Heart Catholic School in Coshocton, Ohio and more recently, Trinity Preschool at St. Margaret of Cortona in Hilliard, Ohio. Linda graduated from Thomas More College outside of Cincinnati and lived in the area until moving to Coshocton to raise her family.  In 2003, Linda moved to Columbus to be closer to her children. Linda enjoyed spending her time with family and the friends with whom she shared her life and loved unconditionally. She felt incredibly lucky to have met so many awesome families through her years as a preschool teacher and remained close to many former students and their parents over the years.

Friends are invited to visit at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich Street, Hilliard, Ohio 43026, on THURSDAY, MAY 31, 2018 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.  Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 pm on that same date at ST. MARGARET OF CORTONA CATHOLIC CHURCH, 1600 N. Hague Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43204. A family burial service will be held later at Calvary Cemetery in Cincinnati, Ohio.  We know that in lieu of flowers, Linda would very much appreciate a memorial donation made to Trinity Preschool at St. Margaret of Cortona for her students.
