Linda E. Clark

Linda E. Clark, age 83, of Galloway, OH, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 22, 2020 at home surrounded by her loving family. “St. Linda,” as she was affectionately known, was born in Cincinnati, OH to the late Luke and Marie Clayton. She was a graduate of Hughes High School, Class of 1955. Linda was a long-time secretary with the John Deere Company and retired after a 27-year career. She was an active member of Crossroads United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir. She was a member of the United Methodist Women and was once named United Methodist Woman of the Year. Linda and her family enjoyed making and selling the family peanut brittle, “Jimmie’s Old Fashioned Brittle,” for many years. In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her son John Clark and her brothers Robert Clayton and Frank Clayton. She is survived by her beloved husband of 59 years, Jimmie D. Clark, her son and daughter-in-law Jeffrey and Kari Clark, of Wisconsin, her grandchildren Parker (Jessica) Clark and Kevin Clark, her great-grandson Austin Clark, sister Mary-Ann (Ron) White, sisters-in-law Sue (Wayne) Minton and Sheryl (Joe) Miller, and many nieces, nephews and friends. Linda’s family would especially like to thank Mount Carmel Hospice for their dedicated, compassionate and professional care of Linda. Also, a thank you to McKenzie Ball and Stacey Cooper from Comfort Keepers, for all that they did to assist Linda and provide her such needed assistance. Thank You!
