Linda Paparodis

Linda Ellen Paparodis, 65, resident of Hilliard, OH, passed away June 14, 2022, at Kobacker House.

Born in Columbus, OH, October 06, 1956, she was a daughter of Vivian Murphy and Herbert Weisenberger. She grew up in Columbus, OH, with her sisters Susie, Ginny, and her brother Cary. She graduated from West High school in 1974 and later started a career with the Department of Liquor Control where she met her husband, Chris Paparodis. Chris and Linda got married on February 14, 1985, moved to Hilliard, and Linda went on to have a long, wonderful career with Hilliard City School District. Linda raised and deeply loved her five beautiful girls.

She retired from Hilliard City Schools in May 2016. Linda was best known for her love of God and large family.  She exemplified a loyal loving heart, caring kind words, and unwavering strength. In her free time, she enjoyed long conversations with her husband, celebrating holidays or any occasion with family, doing crosswords with her granddaughter, playing Wordle with her daughters, and cheering for The Ohio State University Buckeyes. She loved watching All My Children, General Hospital, Chicago (Fire/PD), and reading.

She is survived by her loving husband Chris Paparodis and 5 daughters: Krista McKinney (Shawn McKinney), Angela Ely, Nicole Saridakis (Paul Saridakis), Mary Sullivan (David Sullivan), and Elizabeth Paparodis (Robert Brock); her 10 grandchildren; Makenzee Ely, Erin McKinney, Carter Ely, Ryan McKinney, Kearsta Thomas, Kaiden McKinney, Spencer Sullivan, Amelia Sullivan, Zoey Saridakis, and Eliana Saridakis; her mother, Vivian Murphy, her father, Herbert Weisenberger, her sister Susie Bland (Craig Bland), her brother, Cary Weisenberger (Geny Mar), 6 nieces, and 4 nephews.  She is preceded in death by her sister, Virginia Mott, and nephew, Chadwick Mott.

A visitation will be held at Tidd Funeral Home in Hilliard from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, on Monday, June 20, 2022 with the Trisagion Service promptly beginning at 4:00 pm.

Funeral Service will be held at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at 10:00 am. Interment at Wesley Chapel Cemetery in Hilliard.
