Linli Jude Van Houten

Linli Jude Van Houten, five weeks and five days old, passed peacefully while in the arms of her Mom and Dad at Nationwide Children’s Hospital on Saturday, September 3, 2016. We will always remember her bright smile. She made two families one. In her short five weeks battling her heart issues, she showed and received a lifetime of love. Linli’s family would like to thank everyone for their endless prayers and support. She was preceded in death by her aunt Hanna Van Houten, great-grandfather Edward Carroll, great-grandmother Judy Sicilian, great-grandfather Robert Van Houten and great-grandparents Mary and John Smelser. She is survived by her parents Lani Smelser and Tyler Van Houten; grandparents: Brian and Kathy Herbert and Travis and Christie Van Houten; great-grandparents: Jean Carroll, Chris Barton, John and Connie Vale, Jim and Vicky Sicilian and Charles Herbert; aunts and uncles: Cliff (Shannon) Rece, Bobbi Laakso, Miki (Mark) Fisher, Cory Van Houten, Nathan Van Houten, Chrissy (John) Hopkins and Chip (Tiffany) Herbert; and many cousins and great-aunts and great-uncles.
