Loretha "Rete" Miller

Loretha “Rete” Miller, age 95, born April 14, 1920 in Amlin, Ohio; from Hilliard, OH, and formerly of Port Charlotte, FL; passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2015. Rete was a graduate of Hilliards High School class of 1938, and Capital University, where she received her teaching degree. She taught in Unionville Center, OH for 17 years and last taught for 17 years at Ridgewood Elementary, Hilliard City Schools, where her students would know her as Mrs. Gantz. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Dublin, OH and former member of Grace Lutheran Church, Arcadia, FL. Preceded in death by parents, William and Clara (Wolpert) Horch and former husband, William “Tommy” Gantz of Grove City. Survived by husband, Frank J. Miller, numerous cousins and a host of friends. Family will receive friends Friday, May 8, 2015 from 1 p.m. until time of service at 2 p.m. at St. John Lutheran Church, 6135 Rings Rd. in Dublin, OH 43016. Pastor John Greig officiating.
