Lorraine Campbell

Lorraine Kinder Campbell, age 94, every entrance has an exit: Her entrance into this world was March 6, 1925 in Huntington, WV, she made her exit into heaven November 22, 2019 at 8:34 pm at Crown Pointe Care Center, Columbus, OH. No pain, no suffering, she just simply closed her eyes and made her transition to her eternal home and into the embrace of her heavenly father, her parents Clyde and Letha Kinder, her loving husband/our dad Robert Acree Campbell and her beloved grandson Michael Alan Minton who all preceded her in death. She is survived by her brother Reverend Charles (Phyllis) Kinder of Saint Johns, FL, her four children; Dr. Robert (Becky) Campbell of Dublin, OH, Nancy (Richard) Minton of Hilliard, OH, Scott (Susie) Campbell of Dublin, OH and Kevin (Mary) Campbell of Columbus, 14 wonderful grandchildren, 29 very special great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and an abundance of friends whom she loved dearly. She was a longtime member of Hilliard United Methodist Church.  When we gathered at her bedside after her passing the nurse told us “she was our queen.” She was our queen too and she made sure we knew it. This world will never be the same without her here and I am sure heaven will never be the same with her there. We know she will always be walking along side of us. She was and always will be a blessing of love forever. She was a light to everyone she ever met. Be kind and love each other. We would like to thank the staff at Crown Pointe Care Center for all the wonderful care and love you gave our mother. We knew she was safe and secure in your hands. Thank you to the Tidd Funeral Home for your help and care in the final stages of our mother’s life. Per her wishes she will be cremated and placed with her husband Bob in Huntington, WV at their final resting place and also with her grandson Michael Minton here at Wesley Chapel Cemetery. Please join us to celebrate her life Sunday, December 15, 2019 from 5-6 pm at the Hilliard United Methodist Church, 5445 Scioto Darby Rd., Hilliard, OH 43026; where a memorial service will follow at 6 pm.
