Lucille Thornsberry, age 83, passed away in Columbus, OH, on November 13, 2009. She was born on June 19, 1926, in Smoky Valley, KY. Preceded in death by father, Henry C. Hall; step-mother, Gladys Stamper-Hall; mother, Elsie Porter-Thacker; step-father, Herchel M. Thacker; brothers, Edgar Lee and George C. Hall; and sister, Norma Jeane Wright.
She graduated from Clay High School in 1944 in Portsmouth, OH. She moved to Mansfield in 1950. She was employed at Dominion Electric Company and Essex and retired from Therm-O-Disc. She is survived by her son, Michael Thornsberry; daughter, Judy Kaser; sister, Flora “Liz” Miller; brother, Bill Thacker; six grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be sent to the National Kidney Foundation, 1373 Grandview Avenue, Columbus, OH 43212.
