Luther C. (Luke) Cochran, age 77, of Lancaster, passed away Saturday May 25, 2013 at his home. Luke was born in Kentucky in 1935. He served in the Navy for 20 years teaching Navy Personal on Nuclear Submarines and trained pilots on simulators for their aircrafts. After retiring from the Navy Luke worked for Johnson and Johnson as a Bio Medical engineer retiring after 15 years. He was preceded in death by his parents and 1st. wife Priscella Cochran. He is survived by his loving wife Joyce, dog Angel, brother Robert Cochran, son Michael (Connie) Cochran, daughter Gerrylynn (Raymond) Gibson, grandchildren, Amanda and Andrew Gibson, Conner and Michaela Cochran.
A Memorial service will be held Friday May 31st 11:30am at First United Methodist Church, 163 E. Wheeling St., Lancaster, Ohio. Interment will follow, 2:00 pm at Alton Cemetery, Galloway, OH. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the First United Methodist Church Cross Roads Building Fund.
