Lynn Roose

Lynn E. Roose age 78, of Hilliard Ohio, died at home Saturday December 14, 2019.  Lynn graduated from Hilliard HS in 1959 and married his high school sweetheart Phyllis McFarland. They had 2 sons Lynn Roose Jr (Liz) and LaMar Roose II.  Lynn founded a successful commercial construction company in 1978 which is still in operation today.  He has resided in Hilliard since 1956. Lynn was preceded in death by his parents LaMar and Louise Roose, and his brother Larry.  Lynn is survived his sons Lynn Jr. and LaMar II, his grandsons Lynn III and Sean (Stephanie) and his great granddaughter Rowan.  Also surviving are sisters Lanita Ayers and Laurel Frank, nieces Heather, Paige, Angie and Monica.  Lynn enjoyed fine carpentry and cabinet making. 

Lynn’s family will receive visitors Friday Dec 20 2-4 pm and 5-7 pm at Tidd Family Funeral Home 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026. The memorial service at Tidd Family Funeral will begin 10am Saturday Dec 21 (officiating will be by Pastor Martin Guerena) followed by the burial at Sunset Cemetery Masonic Section at 6959 West Broad St. Galloway OH 43119. Following the burial there will be a hospitality lunch at Northwest Chapel 6700 Rings Rd. Dublin OH 43016.
