Mae Miller

Mae was born April 20, 1940 in Wiley Hill, Pennsylvania to the late John Willis Coblentz & Jesse Viola Best (Coblentz). She was retired from Vorys, Sater, Seymore, & Pease Law Firm where she worked for many years as an Executive Assistant. Mae’s passion was serving the Lord in the music ministry for which she fulfilled for most of her adult life as a choir director and accompanist, and organist, directing hand-bell choir, and praise teams. She served and worshipped at Hilliard Church of Christ for nearly 30 years and for many earlier years in this same music ministry capacity alongside her late husband, Jackson Earl Miller (April 1987), in his ministries in Christian Churches and Churches of Christ in Kentucky, Michigan, and Ohio. She was a graduate of Kentucky Christian College and attained a Masters of Business Administration from Morehead State University, Kentucky. She was known for her generous spirit, devotion to Christ, and love of family and friends.

Mae is survived by her son John (Kelly) Miller of Dublin, Ohio, a sister June (Richard) Crane of Eugene, Oregon, and 2 grandchildren Samantha Rane and Elias James-Jackson Miller of Dublin, Ohio. Mae was also preceded in death by brothers Larry Calvin Coblentz and Billy Coblentz.

Services held at 11:00am Thursday, June 8, 2017 at Hilliard Church of Christ, 4300 Avery Rd. in Hilliard, Ohio with visitation on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 from 6 to 8pm and Thursday from 10 to 11am.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to either the Alzheimer’s Association or the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America. Arrangements with Tidd Family Funeral Home, Hilliard, OH.
