Malcolm E. Pennell

Malcolm E. Pennell, age 79, of Lakeview, OH, formerly of Hilliard, passed away Friday, February 06, 2015. Retired from Upper Arlington Fire Department as a Fire Fighter/EMT. Former owner of Pennell Insurance Agency in Hilliard, OH. Malcolm was a member of Indian Lake Community Church, Logan County Historical Society, The Holland Theatre Restoration Project and a life member of Northwest Franklin County Historical Society. Survived by loving wife of 57 years Jerry, daughter Sandy Meredith, son and daughter-in-law Larry and Marlyne Pennell of London, brother and sister-in-law Arlen and Terri Pennell of Hilliard, sister and brother-in-law Penny and Tom Evans, grandchildren Michele Herbert and Sheena Pennell, 2 great grandchildren Sarah and Benjamin Herbert. Family will receive friends Monday 2-4pm & 6-8pm at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026; where funeral service will be held 11 am Tuesday with Pastors Larry Baker and Jim Ellington officiating. In honoring Malcolm’s request, cremation will follow the services.
