Margaret C. "Peg" Anderson, age 85, was called home by the Lord January 22, 2014, at Kobacker House (hospice) in Columbus, Ohio . She was born March 21, 1928, in Morgantown, West Virginia. She was preceded in death by parents Silas Edward "Ed" and Opal (Wiant) Campbell, brother Hurley E. Campbell, and sister Eva Jarrett.

She was a graduate of Morgantown High School and later attended classes at West Virginia University. She was married to her loving husband of 63 years, John Anderson, Jr., surviving, on June 3, 1950, in Morgantown. She is also survived by her sister Helen Warman of Morgantown, West Virginia; 3 sons and their wives Rodney W. and Mary Anderson of Columbus, Ohio, James A. and Ruth Anderson of Hilliard, Ohio, and Jon D. and Allison Anderson of Gaithersburg, Maryland; 5 grandchildren, Catherine O. Anderson, Capt. Brian E. Anderson USAF, ST G2 Phillip J. Anderson USN, Frances (Anderson) Norona, Brooks J. Anderson; and 3 great grandsons, Zaccaria C. Anderson, Jackson D. Anderson and Ethan Anderson.

In addition to raising her family, she also worked as a library aide at Village Elementary School in South Charleston, WV, and was a Cub Scout den mother. She also was especially proud of her service as President of the New Neighbors League of Columbus, Ohio.

From 1983 to 1994 she was the founder and President of the Amen Corner Christian Bookstore on West Fifth Avenue in Columbus, Ohio, through which she served and assisted many people through prayer and Christian counsel.

Family will receive friends Sunday 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at the ROBINSON FUNERAL HOME, 32 W Winter St., Delaware, OH 43015; where funeral service will be Monday 10 am. Interment Oak Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to HomeReach Hospice, 3724 Olentangy River Rd., Suite G, Columbus, OH 43214 or to the charity of your choice.
