Marilyn Lane Wagner went home to be with the Lord, October 8, 1935 - September 19, 2014, age 78, at Doctor's W. Hospital. Preceded in death by father, Robert Lane (WWII, buried overseas); mother, LaVerne Lane-Lore; brother Carl Lane. She is survived by, devoted husband, of 58 years, Howard O. Wagner; sister, Sandra Lane (Terry) Walker; nieces, Marilyn Laura Cox and Beth Walker; grandnephews, Jacob and Robert; nieces, Darla, Sherri, and Anita; sister-in-law, Lucille (Ray) Castle; special friends, Pastors Terry and Susan Wood, Don and Jan Held, Bob and Cheryl Stephenson and Cassidy, Belle McLaughlin, Frank Zubovich, John and Candace Berlau, Tim and Vickie Kelly and the residents of Stratford Place. Marilyn was a warm, sweet and loving person with a gentle spirit, full of life, great smile, optimistic, loved fellowship with people, and loved her Lord. Her special interests were: travel, music, theatre, movies, and her church, the Worthington Chapel Salvation Army. She was loved by all who met her and will be dearly missed. Marilyn graduated from Fredericktown, OH High School, The Ohio State University (Master's Degree), graduated from a 3-year course in Restore America - America's Christian Heritage. Mid and late life: co-owner with husband of Wagner Enterprises, an international marketing company, other business interests, especially in the hospitality industry combined purpose and travel. A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 18, 2014 at 2 p.m. graveside at Wesley Chapel Cemetery, 3225 Dublin Rd. in Hilliard. Arrangements with Tidd Family Funeral Home in Hilliard.
