Marion Lyman

Marion Lyman, age 90, of Plain City, passed away December 13, 2013. She was active in church, formerly at Good Shepherd Baptist Church and more recently in church services at Edgewater Assisted Living. Marion was active in numerous civic, fundraising and social organizations. She was an avid Buckeye and sports fan; loved to travel; accomplished seamstress, quilter and fabric artist; enjoyed gardening, the outdoors and was a music lover. WWII wartime worker in military depos; legal secretary in family law firm, adoptions screener. Preceded in death by parents, Omar and Edith Newman, stepmother, Edna Newman; husband, Webster Lyman; brothers John, James and Arland Newman. Survived by sister, Alberta Williams; brother, Ellwood (Helen) Newman; daughters, Bonita Logan and Alisa (William) Renner; grandson, Jeremy Logan; and many cousins & extended family. Family will receive friends 1-3 pm Tuesday at TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026. A graveside service will be held 11 am Wednesday at Glen Rest Cemetery.
