Mark Byers

Mark Byers, age 50, of Columbus, passed away surrounded by his loving family on October 13, 2011 after a courageous battle with cancer. Mark was a devoted son, brother, husband, and father. He was also an avid Buckeye fan. He was a Claims Specialist in the worker’s compensation field for over 25 years and most recently with Gallagher Bassett Services INC. Preceded in death by mother, Ruth (Garrett) Byers. Survived by father, John Byers; loving wife of 11 years, Jami; children, Jordan, Justin, Garrett, and Annie; siblings, Kelly Byers (Lori), Patty (Gary) Creager, Ed (Charlene) Byers, Dave (Cheryl) Byers, and John Byers; along with many loving nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Family will receive friends Sunday from 2-5PM at THE TIDD FUNERAL HOME 5265 Norwich St. Hilliard, OH 43026 where a funeral service will be held 10AM Monday with Rev. Elizabeth Reed officiating. Burial Sunset Cemetery.
