Mark Corotis

Mark William Corotis, age 50, died unexpectedly on Sunday, February 18, 2007. He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Peggy Hemmelgarn Corotis, son Benjamin Robert Corotis, daughter Nicole Marie Corotis, brothers Robert Corotis of Cincinnati, Jeffery Corotis of Tucson, Steven Corotis of Saudi Arabia, and sister Jenny (Jonathan) Barnes of Columbus, and many brothers-in- law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. Mr. Corotis was born in Columbus, OH on March 31, 1956 to Robert Edward Corotis (d. 1997) and Marylou Zimmerman Corotis. He graduated from Whetstone High School where he was an avid athlete of swimming, track and football team. Following high school, Mark enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps., achieving leadership status during boot camp at Parris Island, SC, and serving in Puerto Rico, and San Diego, CA before receiving an Honorable Discharge in 1976. Mark has his own tree-trimming business for years. Mr. Corotis was a 13 year employee of AT&T, most recently as a Fiber Splicing Technician. He was immensely proud of his son Ben’s many academic and athletic achievements at Hilliard Darby High School and dearly loved his beautiful daughter Nikki. A great cook, husband and father who will be missed. Friends may call 2-4 and
