Mark S. Young

Mark Stephen Young, age 60, of Dublin, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2017. He was born In Toledo, Ohio to the late Dorothy and Bernard Young. Mark is survived by the mother of his children, Chari Young, his son and daughter-in-law Adam and Elle Young and his daughter Sarah Young. Mark is also survived by his siblings Marie, Margo, Marty, Mike and Monica. Mark graduated from Toledo Central Catholic High School and The Ohio State University. During his career at IBM and JPMorgan Chase as an International Tech and Financial Services Executive, Mark was known for his mentorship and dedication to customer success. Having been a caddy and Evans Scholar, he was passionately devoted to the mission of the Western Golf Association and cherished his role as Director. Mark was happiest while spending time with his family-especially on their many vacations to Disney World. His kids will always remember his enthusiastic cheers at every sporting event. Mark was a devoted Buckeye Fan. He attended 26 consecutive OSU/Xichigan games with his son Adam. If he wasn’t cheering on his Buckeyes, you could find Mark cooking for his loved ones, or on the golf course putting six feet for par. As a devout Catholic, Mark most loved the Prayer of St. Francis “..where there is darkness, light and where there is sadness, joy…” Mark’s family will receive friends SATURDAY, AUGUST 5, 2017 at ST. BRIGID OF KILDARE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 7179 Avery Road, Dublin, OH 43017 where visitation will be held from 9:00a.m.-10:30a.m. A Eulogy Service will be held from 10:30a.m.-11:00a.m. and will be followed by his Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00a.m. with Reverend Matthew Morris, Celebrant.
