Marley Vance

Marley Vance, age 78, of Galloway, passed away Saturday, February 23, 2008. Served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. Member of St. James Lutheran Church and the Telephone Company Pioneers Club. Preceded in death by parents George Wiley and Allie Grimmette Vance, brothers Rannie, Troy, Norman and Jimmy Vance, sisters Maggie Justice and Madeva Brumfield. Survived by loving wife of 53 years Janet Vance, children Barbara Fleischmann and Daniel Vance, grandchildren Kimberly and Douglas Fleischmann, brothers Jerry and Terry Vance, sisters Marnell Eads, Anna Vance and Laura Sue Rollins and numerous other loving relatives. Friends may call Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard. Funeral service will be held 11 am Wednesday at the St. James Lutheran Church, 5660 Trabue Rd., Columbus, OH 43228 where family will receive friends one hour prior to the time of service. Interment Sunset Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the St. James Lutheran Church.
