Marlin Hurd

Marlin Lee Hurd, at the age of 87, passed away peacefully the morning of October 4, 2014, at Carriage Court of Hilliard Assisted Living. He is reunited with his loving wife of 64 years, Elma Lou, who passed in April 2013. He was pre-deceased by brothers Paul Hurd and Donald Hurd,sister Grace Lingard, and young son Jeffery. He is survived by son Bill and his wife Chris, son Terry, daughter Lori (McKinney) and her husband Rob, grandsons Derek Hurd, Drew McKinney and Parker McKinney, and numerous nieces and nephews. We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for the loving care he received from all his caregivers at Carriage Court, with a special thanks to Howard and Joyce Dougherty for the tireless hours they devoted to both Marlin and Elma Lou in their last years. Another thank you to VITAS Hospice for your care and support. A memorial service will be held at 1p.m., Sunday, October 19th at Resurrection Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3500 Main St., Hilliard, OH, where Mom and Dad were lifetime members.
