Marshall Craig Knoch, 29 passed away Thursday, September 8, 2022, at his home in Hilliard, Ohio. Marshall was born on June 11, 1993, to Deborah Princehorn and Vance Knoch in Fall River Mills, California.

Marshall attended Big Valley Elementary School until moving to Hilliard, Ohio during his middle school years. He attended Tharp Sixth Grade, Weaver middle school and graduated from Hilliard Davidson Highschool in 2011.

Upon graduating from Hilliard Davidson Highschool, Marshall attended Full Sail University in Florida where he obtained his bachelor’s degree in cinematography.

Marshall had a love for sports and began wrestling at the age of 3 and began playing football shortly thereafter. He wrestled and played football throughout his formative years and through high school. In his later years, Marshall coached wrestling for a season at Pace Highschool and Countryside Highschool, both in Florida. He also coached at Hilliard Davidson High School

At the time of Marshall’s passing, he was a substitute teacher. History and geography were his favorite subjects to teach. Marshall had a love for animals and the outdoors. He enjoyed his faithful Labrador companions throughout his life and enjoyed learning new things. In addition to his education at Full Sail, Marshall also attended Northwest Lineman School in Meridian, Idaho and became a certified lineman. Marshall was an Ohio State Fan and enjoyed Ohio State games. Marshall recently became a father and was especially proud that his daughter was born at Ohio State and was officially a “buckeye”. She was the light of his life.

Marshall is survived by his daughter, Aurora Deborah and her mother, Christina Sweeting and her two children, Natalie, and Greg. Marshall is also survived by his parents Vance and Vickie Knoch, Deborah and Mark Princehorn, brothers James Robert Louis Ruscilli and Brandon and Leland Knoch. Paternal grandparents, Bud, and Ruth Knoch.

In addition, Marshall leaves behind a large extended family of aunts and uncles who all held a very special place in Marshall’s life: Hardy and Chelle Vestal, Craig and Chris Knoch, Steve and Debbie Miller, Michael Miller, Erlina Pollitt, Diana and Shane Durbin, Jodi and Ray Garcia and James, Megan Niple,  John and Renee Niple, Ed and Margo Niple, Tom and Rose Niple and Craig Niple. He leaves behind numerous cousins and friends and his faithful companion, Dessa, who was his pride and joy Labrador retriever.

Marshall was preceded in death by maternal grandparents James and Patricia Niple.

The family has chosen private services at this time. However, those who wish to pay respects to the family may do so on Tuesday, September 13, 2022, from 3pm-7pm at 8835 Patterson Road, Hilliard. In lieu of flowers the family requests that a donation be made to the Franklin County Animal Shelter.

The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Psalm 34:18
